Despite dominating for the majority of the game, United required a late Richard Langley penalty to earn a point after former FEDO player Andrew Harewood had found the net for the hosts with a breakaway in the last quarter of the game.

With United's two main reserve scorers both away getting first team experience with Ryman Leaguers Hendon, it was left to debutant Albjon Blloku to lead the line.

United pushed towards the Borough goal almost from the off, Nathan Webb broke away on the right before slipping the ball inside to Richard Langley, he in turn fed the ball into the path of Phil Appiah who saw his seemingly goalbound drive deflected wide by the boot of a home defender.

Blloku then twice went close to opening the scoring, firstly he was inches away from connecting with a Daryl McLean cross before a Langley corner was deflected into his path only for Jasper Owen to throw himself in the way and the ball went wide off the Borough skipper.

With the half hour mark approaching it was still totally one way traffic, McLean saw a drive cleared off the line although the defender did look to be well inside the goal but despite claims for a goal play continued. Borough keeper Jamie Adim then did well to palm out an Elliott Buchanan shot as he cut inside from the left.

McLean was again just wide of the target from distance before George Chanda came to the hosts rescue when he positioned himself perfectly on the post to keep out the same player who had hit an instant shot from 20 yards after being picked out by a Langley corner.

As the half closed the hosts finally showed that they could be dangerous going forwards, Andrew Mensah was inches wide with a free-kick and then seconds later another free-kick was played to the far post by Wesley Samuel with Miles Ajayi heading wide of the target at full stretch.

The second half was to be a little more even as the hosts finally started to shut United down in possession. Two good chances came early in the half, one per side. Firstly Langley sent Mclean through on goal, the United man aiming a curling effort towards the bottom corner only to be denied by a fine diving tip away by Adim. At the other end Harewood turned his marker and advanced on goal, thankfully for United he fired wide with just Aldi Haxhia to beat.

Still before the hour mark and both keepers were again required to keep the scoresheet blank. Adim made an excellent save from a James Mulley volley before Haxhia at the other end had to be alert to catch hold of a Harewood header.

Fifteen minutes from time and what had seemed improbable at the break happened, Harrow took the lead. A long ball from defence caught Isaac Bonket on his heels and Harewood moved past him onto the dropping ball, took it to the edge of the area, and coolly slotted past the diving Haxhia.

The home side's lead lasted just eight minutes when a driven shot inside the Borough box caught an outstretched arm and referee Downey awarded United a penalty. Langley stepped up and comfortably beat Adim from 12 yards.

Both sides had a chance in the closing minutes to take full points, Appiah hit a free-kick from 25 yards that swung away from goal at the last minute and at the other end a misplaced clearance found former United reserve man Charles Adeyemi but his shot from 18 yards was too high to trouble Haxhia.
