Half-Time: 0-0 Referee: R Allum
Hayes & Yeading United dominated the early precedings of the match with some good football but were found wanting in the final third due to some poor finishing.

In the first couple of minutes United worked the ball forwards well but Esmond James fired over the bar from eight yards out. Burnham started to pressure the United defence with striker Oliver Woodall hitting the woodwork twice in the space of a minute, both with headers that gave John Peacock little chance.

In the second half Burnham came out the better side and hit the woodwork for a third time just after the break before Woodall found himself in acres of space but shot straight at Peacock in the United goal.

Just after the hour mark the home side broke the deadlock after some poor defending from the Hayes & Yeading back line where failure to clear their lines saw Burnham full-back Richard Jeffrey in the clear and he fired past John Peacock to give his side the lead.

Hayes & Yeading rallied for an equaliser and but for poor finishing they would not only have equalised but would have been ahead.

Then with just five minutes to play Burnham made it 2-0 courtesy of Reece Richardson when United lost the ball on the halfway line giving up a three on two scenario and he slotted the ball confidently past Peacock.

United still created chances to score and eventually Jake Lovell got the ball into the Burnham net only to be denied by a raised offside flag.scored but the goal was dissallowed for Jake being in an offside position.
