Hayes & Yeading United Football Club

It is with great sadness that Hayes & Yeading United have been advised that long-time club supporter Gordon Macey has passed away.

Gordon was best known in football for his role as the dedicated club historian at Queens Park Rangers, but he could often be found at Hayes & Yeading United quietly sharing his insights and knowledge while being the true gentleman he always was.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family at this sad time.

Rest in Peace Gordon.

The first 16 names have this evening been announced by Hayes & Yeading leading up to the new campaign that we hope will commence mid-September 2020, subject to Government and Southern League approval.

On behalf of the club I would like to welcome back the players returning from the previous campaign that was wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic while also offering a warm welcome back to former United youth hitman Dylan Kearney, who returns for a second spell with United from National League side Sutton United.

The club have arranged a series of pre-season matches to prepare the squad for the upcoming season which we believe will be starting in mid-September.

Due to the fact that current Government advice states that they will be played behind closed doors, we will not be publishing the details in advance.

However, if the games become available for supporters to attend, we will of course get them publicised as soon as possible.

Additionally, we will be aiming to announce a large squad update via our social media portals this evening.

With players now returning to the SKYex Community Stadium in preparation for the new season, we will be announcing some exciting player news later this week – Keep an eye on the official website and our Social Media feeds for more details in the coming days.

Now that it is likely that the season will start in mid-late September, the club is delighted to put on sale Season Tickets for the upcoming Southern League Premier South season.

For all of those renewing their season tickets, in appreciation of their continued support, and a curtailed season, prices are unchanged from last season with Adults continuing to pay £119 for the whole season, Concessions £64 and Under 16s £39. Exclusively available for renewals is the continued offer to get one free U16 ticket per Adult/Concessionary holder.

New holders can obtain tickets at £139 Adults, £79 for Concessions and £49 for Under 16s.

The Southern League have today published a bulletin giving some preliminary dates for Non-League football potentially to return.
