Steve Wales was a tall winger who played for Broxbourne Borough V&E, Cockfosters, Cheshunt and Boreham Wood before arriving at Yeading to make his debut in the league draw at Eastleigh in February 2005. Steve was the only non-Conference National player selected for the National Game XI that won 2-0 in Belgium in November 2005 and might have gained more representative honours but for an injury. Scored four times in his 52 Yeading appearances before spending the 2006-07 as a regular at AFC Wimbledon. Started 2007-08 at Cambridge City, but left mid-season for Hemel Hempstead Town. He moved to Chesham United for the start of the 2009-10.

Liam Walsh arrived at the Warren in pre-season 2003 and made one start, in the Ryman Charity Shield match against Aldershot Town in August, and one substitute appearance in the 2003-04 season.

Central defender David Wattley started his career at Queens Park Rangers, but never made the first team. He moved to Lincoln City for the start of the 2003-04 season but only made a handful of appearances for the Imps. He made one solitary appearance for Yeading in the 2004-05 season.

Defender Alvin Watts played for Hayes from December 1997 to September 2001 in the Conference National, before moving to Stevenage Borough, where he stayed until the end of the 2001-02 season. He spent a short time at Chesham United before making a single start for Yeading in the 2002-03 season.

Yeading youth team product Dwain Williams made a single start for Yeading in the August 2006 Conference South fixture at Welling United. He certainly spent much of the 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons at Northwood, (where there is some confusion as he was a teammate of Dwane Williams). He seems to have spent most of the 2009-10 season in Sutton United reserve team.

Leon Woodruffe who played at wing back or forward, started his career at Wembley and Hampton & Richmond Borough, before moving to Yeading. He then played for Harrow Borough and Hendon before returning to the Warren in October 2002. From 2002 he made 62+39 appearances scoring at least 3 times before moving to Slough Town in July 2005, moving to Oxford City in November 2007, and then to Bracknell Town.

Young forward Chris Wright
joined Yeading in January 2007 on loan from Conference National side Exeter City for whom he’d made a handful of appearances for the previous season. He made ten starts for Yeading in the 2006-07 season, scoring 2 goals. He then returned to Exeter City but couldn’t break into the first team. He started the 2009-10 season at Saltash United of the South West Peninsula League, and then moved to Plymouth Parkway.
